Gua Sha

Gua Sha (scraping therapy) is a form of Traditional Chinese Medicine that is used to relieve the stagnation of blood that obstructs surface tissues and inhibits organ function by "scraping" the skin with a blunt rounded tool, such as a spoon. Herbal liniment is applied on the skin first before it is scraped so the patient does not feel any pain during the therapy.
